The MyMagic+ bands were an abstract concept when they were described without demonstration. In order to convince consumers of the benefits, they needed to experience and interact with the product before purchase.
We brought the MyMagic+ bands to life for consumers by creating a travelling ballistic case and an interactive display at Virgin Holiday shops, that allowed consumers to try the band on and investigate its multiple uses when at Disney. This was supported by snap on bands and flyer drops near shops to create awareness and drive interest.
